How to find Barwood Cottage
The cottage is located in the conservation area of Sandiacre, in the county of Derbyshire.
It is situated between Nottingham and Derby, and is ideally located within easy reach of all major road networks, for A52, A50, A6 and M1 junctions 25 & 26.
Directional notes:
From M1 junction 25 / A52 exit, proceed onto Bostocks Lane signposted for Risley and Sandiacre. At the traffic lights / crossroads proceed straight ahead onto Rushy Lane and follow the road into open countryside. After approximately half a mile take the first turning on the right into Stanton Road. Continue on Stanton Road, passing over the M1. After approximately one mile Stanton Road merges into Church Street. As the road bends to the right, Barwood Cottage occupies a triangular plot on the left hand side, diagonally opposite the Blue Bell Inn.
